I've looked through the documentation and I could not find an answer.

Basically I/weget a lot of e-mail alerts to the point that no one pays attention. Too many alerts can be or is as bad as not getting enough. We get a lot of alerts for CPU spiking, page file spikes things like that. I would like to keep the polling the same but wait longer before sending an alert. We poll about every minute. If we have a lot of things going on in a day I get an alert every 60 seconds one for down and one for up. is there a way to keep polling the same just wait longer before sending an e-mail.

Please keep in mind I inherited this a few months ago and I am still learning.

On the Trigger condition tab, set the "do not trigger this action..." (at the bottom) to something like 1 minute. This should take case of any spikes/flaps.

It is a balancing act to pick a figure that reduces/removed the spikes, but alerts quick enough in the event of a real incident.
