Hi, does CATTOOLS have any limitation on number of devices it can manage?
Thanks.
Hi,
CatTools is recommended for smaller, less complex networks that typically have less than 100 devices.
But technically there is no limitation on number of devices.
You can find the comparison between Solarwinds NCM with CatTools here,

Here is a comparison with our NCM tool:

But if I am still using cattools for around 200 devices configs backup, what should i be aware, is that going to be any problems, what problems are going to be?
I would not run 200 devices in one activity. I would split the devices up into about 4 activities of 50 each, and schedule them to run about 15 minutes apart.
Thanks for the reply bkyle, so does that mean i can use cattools to backup as many devices as i want, as long as i split them into multiple activities, and give 15-20 mins time gap.
