Yes, you can use Report Writer to get this information.
i have tried report writer, but it only returns figures for interdface i'm polling in orion
and ignores ports i'm not polling, any way to incluide ALL ports whether i have them on orion or not?
There is no way to include ports in a report for which Orion is not polling. How would Orion know about their existence if it was not polling them? Here's an example - would you be able to tell me the names of all the people you don't know? :-)
You can use a Custom SQL report in Report Writer to get a count of all 'up' ports and all 'down' ports, if that's what you're looking for. Otherwise, follow Network_Guru's suggestion in this post if you have the Toolset:
