A pair of remote pollers sit in an area that will not be able to access the Internet to install the 3.0 version of .NET. If I ran the full install locally and then run set up of Orion 8.5 would that suffice?BB
Yes, you can manually install .net 3.0 and it'll work just fine.
So .net 3.0 is not included with the Orion installer, but rather it's pulled from the Internet during the install?
I ask because I need to install Orion on a server without access to the Internet. In this case, I'll need to have .net 3.0 already downloaded installed on the server?
Thanks,
Jeff
You are correct. To install 8.5 on a non-Internet connected server, you will need to get .NET 3.0 installed first.

Jeff,
Make sure you download the whole install....not the loader. The full install is 51MB.BB
