We need to be able to record traps in the NetPerfMon Event log.
This option does no show up in the Trap Viewer rules. The adavnced alerts does have this feature.
Can we get a patch for this?

That's a feature request, not a bug. We don't put features into patches. It's a request we'll consider for a feature release.
hey denny...can we also make sure that "copy rule" functionality is added to Trap rules in the pipeline. Currently no way to quickly copy rule to new rule. Only other thing with Trap alerts that needs improvement is the parsing of trap messages but I believe you are already aware of how important that is due to number of posts I have seen on this forum. We would like to see the ability to send both SNMP Traps and Syslog messages to the NPM Event log as well as have the right-click "add rule" feature that is available in the Trap viewer added to the Syslog Viewer. Thanks!
Agreed. The ability to collect everything into the NPM event log would be of benefit. We use the event log to generate reports on overall status of the environment and not having this information in there we are missing out on some key data. Thanks
