UnDP Results for Unmonitored Interfaces

Question

I'm trying to use a UnDP to get a status of all interfaces on a device. When I go to UnDP and test the assignment of the poller on the nodes I get responses for all interfaces. However, when I go to the web interface and view the poller results it only displays results for interfaces that I'm managing, not a chart of all interfaces and their statuses (which is what I was expecting). I've verified this by taking a device and monitoring all the interfaces and viola the UnDP shows results for all interfaces. I unmonitor the interfaces and the results disappear.

Is there a way to get the UnDP results for interfaces which I'm not monitoring?

I've got the same issue and they've logged it as a feature request but I personally think its a bug and should be dealt with as a bug not a feature request. As I've paid for an SLX license and should be able to monitor what I want even if the interface isn't being directly monitored in NPM.

I see, and I understand the licensing issue.

Is there anyway though to get a snapshot count of all "up" interfaces without having to monitor the all the interfaces? We have SLX license but we don't have the polling capacity to manage all of our switch interfaces. But I have a requirement to provide a report with total port capacity and available capacity.  I'm using a different poller to get ifCount, but I'm trying to get a count for up or down interfaces.

These OIDs are blocked to prevent users from circumventing our licensing. Sorry for the inconvenience.

UDT can also help with this so you don't have to manage and collect interface utilization for every interface (although you still need to manage the port in UDT, the tiers are much higher and built around the assumption you will monitor all ports).
