Filter Last 25 Events display?

How can I make it so that the Last 25 Events item on the page doesn't show me useless information like this?

(device)-GigabitEthernet0/9 - Gi0/9 User defined Transmit Bandwidth changed from 100000000 to 1000000000 bps

I've tried checking the System Manager, but when I click View > Display View I am offered only "no views defined" and there doesn't even appear to be an Events view as described in the documentation.

Unfortunately, currently, selective event display in the web console is an outstanding feature request. I can't say if or when it will be included in a release, but it has been recorded.

I checked the documentation and found instructions for you to try. Let me know if these work for you and if they don't, I'll check with the writer.

Chapter 20 of the Orion NPM Administrator Guide (page 233).

I did a search on 'events view' in the online Admin Guide and it return many results. Check the top two.

These are some of the pages in the documentation that I mentioned in the original post. They appear to deal with the display when one clicks on the Events toolbar entry. I'm talking about the Last 25 Events gadget on the main window display.

Has there been any update to this request? It would seem like a tool/request that would be heavily utilized and I'm confused as to why it wouldn't have been implemented already.

I forget who, but someone created a widget that does exactly what you're looking for. I use it in my installation to filter out the exact same thing you're trying to get rid of.

Based on what I see in my usual download folder, the file you're looking for is events.filtered_9.5.1
I'm using this in my v10.1.3 installation without any issue.
