I am a newbie, please help me regarding on my issue. When I installing the Patch Manager on a VM an Error occurs in the later part on installation process to be specific:
Maybe just use a SQL Server express instance. If not, I think you'd have to have all the SQL software and services installed and configured, and a database file created and ready to connect to before you can choose this option.
Thank you for you response. we are trying to migrate the old database (Separate VM) to a new VM of Patch Manager. but that error always occurs even though we disable firewall, anti-viruses. and even provided a new credentials and policies for SQL. but it didn't work

It applies for moving from remote to remote SQL as well, and even if you keep the same SQL server it may have some ideas you missed?
