HP switch banner after login

Question

Hello all.  I'm trying to get Cirrus to work with a couple of HP 5406zl switches.  I can access the switch via SSH or telnet, but in either case, immediately following a successful login an HP system banner appears requiring user to press any key to continue.  I've reviewed the config on the devices, and I know that they are not running any kind of user created banner that could be disabled via the 'no banner' command.  So, some way or another, I need to configure Cirrus to execute a keystroke after that banner displays so it can get to the CLI to execute commands.  Anyone encountered this or know how to make it send (could be carriage return, space, q, whatever) something to bypass?

I am able to back up the config using telnet transfer.  However, we are planning to disallow telnet on all network devices in the near future, so having the SSH functionality will be key.

We are also a Cisco router environment to some extent, but our largest network device population is SonicWall appliances.  The SonicWalls do support SSH and SNMP, so I'd love to be part of an effort to back up their configs using Cirrus.

I will open a ticket with support today referencing this thread.
