Interfaces in unknown state

I have a 2800 router that has been monitored for a while with no issues but now under Node Status, it says "Node Status is Up, One or more interfaces are in an Unknown State". Also, the interface % utilization stat are no longer being displayed. I can see some traffics stats as well as the NetFlow information for the device. I went into System Manager to view the interface information and these interfaces have a blue question mark next to them. What is the normal fix for this type of thing?

Issue has been resolved. I went into Node Details/Manage Node on the server. Put the community string in again for the two devices and this resolved the issue. I know these two devices were working properly before but for some reason, they both stopped pulling the stats in. Thanks.

Try going into Manage Nodes select the device... do a quick rediscovery... then list resources and see if there's been a new interface added or something that changed. Select any interfaces that you need and submit. I think that should fix the problem. This usually works for me.

Thanks for the reply. I when into Manage Nodes and it is failing SNMP validation. I went into the router and removed and replaced the SNMP information but still no luck. I know the community string is correct. I can ping the server from the router.

Has there been any firewall changes that may have blocked snmp between them? If it's a server try restarting the snmp service on server you are trying to reach if you're sure the community string is correct.
