Can SolarWinds tell me there is a response time / latency issue with a router at a branch office?
Currently our SolarWinds server is at our data center and it polls the various routers and switches including those at the branch offices. If I understand correctly, response time / latency is the measurement of a round trip ping;from the SolarWinds server to the remote networking device and then back to the SolarWinds server.
As such, SolarWinds is reporting the response time / latency between the data center and the branch office, not the response time / latency of the router at the branch office to its internet circuit. Is this possible?
