SA Rights to Create Database

Question

Does Cirrus still require SA rights to create the database during initial setup?  I have a database created already for it to use and the user account is the owner of it. The DBA's where I work won't allow me to have SA rights to the database. This was a problem with Orion as well but has since been fixed and I was wondering if the same had been done for Cirrus yet. Thanks

SA rights are still required, however this should change in a future release.
