We need some ideas on this one. On Cisco switches running IOS the vlan information is not in the config. We had to rebuild a switch and it took us a few minutes to realize the vlan information was missing. We need a better way to back up that information as well. Outside of writing a show vlan job each night and put that into a file is there any better way of tracking this information?
I think this would be a nice feature in the next release in that Cirrus knows a switch like this has that information and include that as part of its configuration backup.
