Account Rights

Question

I am having an issue with user rights.  For users to be able to create Application Monitors, they need Admin Rights.  This gives them WAY more access than I'd like them to have.  The same with creating custom views.  How is everyone dealing with this?  Is it being considered for feature enhancements?  Becoming a big problem here for us.......

Currently there isn't a solution.  In order to test WMI/SNMP/etc on nodes, node management rights are required.  There hasn't been anything set to be able to limit the type of node management access.  Currently I don't think there is a solution here.  Fortunately though with the addition of auditing events, you can see if anyone makes any changes they aren't supposed to be doing.

ok, this post was from 2011.  Has this been addressed?

I have a need to give my staff rights to be able to update custom properties, test snmp/wmi, etc, but i do NOT want them to have full admin rights, OR be able to ADD/DELETE nodes.

What is the solution here?
