can i make an account limitation built on a custom field?

Can you add a custom field to your devices, then make an account limitation based on this?

I can't seem to see how you'd do this, but it seems like you should be able to do this, it's just a simple logical grouping. I see limitations built on System Contact, Location, etc. - but not on custom fields?

Corrected the issue by doing this

192.168.*.* OR 172.16.*.*

Yes, once you have defined a custom property, it should be availble within the Account Limitation selections.

I know that you used to be able to as I do exactly this on my system. However on an identiacl system that I also look after we do not do this.

Only last week I was asked to do this on this other system and yes I can now not see a way in how to do this, nor even change my current system.

Any info on this would be most appricated, runnin NPM 9.1 SP5 soon to go to 9.5 SP3

My guess would be that you needto update the report schemas on the other system- http://support.solarwinds.com/kbase/ProblemDetail.cfm?ID=424

Thats good yes it does fix it for reports but there is still no access to use these custom fields in limiting a user account to what they cae see. I have one entry for which I can use but cannot see any of the other custom fields.
