Problems with Current Hardware Health

Question

Hi,

Im having some strange issues with a few Cisco devices on our network that display Power Supplies have failed and they are still operational. Another problem is that if they actually do fail and are replaced, they still show as down in Solarwinds even after repolling or rediscovering.

Any ideas?

We are currently investigating this. It will be very helpful if you can provide me SNMP walks from your Cisco devices. What I need are walks of CISCO-ENTITY-MIB, CISCO-ENTITY-SENSOR-MIB and CISCO-ENVMON-MIB.

I assume you've got this problem since upgrading to NPM 10.4? If so, there are a few threads on this issue. This one http://thwack.solarwinds.com/thread/52904 has the most information on it.
