I've noticed the "System" process is doing a significant amount of disk writes to it on my primary poller. To the tune of 30MB/sec. I know how I can stop it, but I don't know if NPM or SAM are actually using it for anything.

Yea. I saw that too. I just didn't know if Solarwinds was using it for anything.
