How to - Change subject

Question

When email notifications are sent on a Configuration Download job, the email subject is defined as follows:
Solarwinds.Net Cirrus Configuration Management  Config Change Alert - <DEVICE NAME> - Config has changed (Differs from Last Config)

I want to change that.  It's way too 'effing long and wordy.  There is no means to change it through the application, that I am aware of.  Any registry setting?  (I searched, didn't find anything)

I've been asking for this, along with other modifications to how the email is displayed, since 3.0.  Unfortunately, there is currently no way to change this.  Let's hope SW incorporates this into the next 4.x release.

I've just answered my own question, that just changes the subject for the main job giving the results. So good question, how do you change the subject!?

Can you not get rid of the Solarwinds.Net Configuration Management Job Completion Notification part of the subject by editing the scheduled job and going to the Notifications Tab. There is a subject field there. Not sure if it will remove the Config Change Alert part of the subject though. I'll give it a go tonight.
