APC UPS Custom MIBS from Test to Production server

Question

I upgraded our production 7.8 server to 8.1 which went well and I've now exported our APC UPS custom mib pollers I had on our test 8.1 server and imported them into our production 8.1 server and they don't work it shows no data in red.

I've double checked the custom mib poller and it's exactly the same as on our test box the test box is still polling the custom mib and returing the correct data, but I get nothing from our production server. I went into the custom mib and edited it and test the connection on the production server and it times out if I do exactly the same thing on the test box it returns a value.

As far as I can remeber the only difference between the two is the production box has the hotfixes installed and the test box doesn't.

1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.1.1 Battery Satus

These are just 3 of the OID's that won't work.

Anyone else come across this problem any solutions?

In turned out to be theSNMP version, once changed to v1 it worked fine.

Are you saying the Test from within System Manager is timing out?  Are you seeing any other problems with these nodes (interfaces going to unknown state for example)?

Check to make sure the SNMP version is set correctly in the Node Details.
