Do you have over 1600 nodes on a poller and missing ICMP polls?
I do.
Solarwinds always says it's total elements, but I have found if the poller has over 1600 nodes it has problems.
Service Pack 1 is out for 10.1.1, can you try that and see if it corrects your problem?

Appling SP1 has not changed the ICMP missed polls on 2 pollers which have over 1600 nodes on them.
I have a case open with SW.
This is not a case where only a few nodes are missed, all the nodes on the poller miss ICMP polls.
