All Servers and Workstations are represented as unknown devices.

Question

Hi.

All my workstations/servers show up as unknown devices after doing a network discovery task.Only my local machine is shown as a true workstation. I believe it may be a privileges issue.

I am the domain administrator so therefore my account should enable me to logon to any workstation i want with full access rights.

please can someone help?

Have you verified that SNMP is correctly configured on all the devices in question, and that you are using the correct community strings to perform the discovery? Try manually adding one of the devices via System Manager and see if it barks at you.
