I'm setting up an alert to fire on high latency. It looks like I can trigger on 'Response Time' or 'Average Response Time'. Does anyone know what time frame the 'Average Response Time' is averaged over?
The Solarwinds help guide for Orion NPM Gauges > Response Time Gauges says that the "Average Response Time" is the average experienced over the selected node during the current monitoring period.
The next question is probably "Well, what is the current monitoring period?" and that is user configurable and documented under Orion Website Administration > Polling Settings "Default Node Poll Interval" and by default it is set to 120 seconds.
