Syslog Alert Action

Hi,

I wanted to get the details of action taken for all the syslog alert based on the Alert configured. Is there any way to check this?

Syslog is configured to sent alert based on IP and message. I wanted to check yesterday or last week details like it has sent email to right person as configured or not. Also, I set some discard rule for certain time and wanted to check whether it has really discarded those alert or not? from where I can check this information?
