Is there a way to monitor the event logs of servers to be monitored on the built-in syslog server of NPM?
I saw that Kiwi Syslog Server is capable of doing this. But the built-in syslog of NPM, can it do what the Kiwi Syslog Server does?
Assuming you mean the Windows Event Logs (Application, Security, System, etc) then no. What you need is the new Log & Event Manager software SolarWinds have. Information at:

However, NPM does have a built-in syslog server, so anything that is reported to Kiwi Syslog Server should be able to be monitored by NPM; but I didn't think Windows Servers sent out much in the way of that sort of syslog.
I found that the Kiwi Syslog Server worked it has a bundled Windows Log forwarder......But I haven't tested yet if it will work even without the Kiwi Syslog Server. I mean if it will work on the built-in Syslog NPM having only the Windows Log forwarder installed...Hope you could help me...
