ESX CPU, Mem Monitoring.

Question

I have upgraded my lab to 9.1 and was happy to see the upgrades to ESX monitoring . The list of VM’s running and the stats are good. I also noticed that the amount of Ram is now correctly polled and not just the amount of memory assigned the Virtual console. But it is not all good. I still see the same old CPU usage for the ESX server 2% to 5%. I have seen the VMWare reports and it should be from 25% to 70’s. Should this be working or will it be added in a future release?

Here is the CPU for all of the Vm's and the Total CPU. The total CPU looks way to low.

This should be working.

We sum up all the CPU utilizations across all of the VMs and divide that by the number of CPUs.  Can you verify that your utilization is the average across all your CPUs?
