I cannot backup my Switch

I have been trying to backup my switch but could not yet. I am checking this Forum and trying myself but still no results yet.

I get message like "Connection Refused by switch....."

I would like to ask do u need Read/Write community string for backup, I think mine is just Read Only.

Yes, this sounds like a Telnet/SSH issue. Are your VTY lines configured with any ACLs permitting or denying specific source IP's? Are you denying telnet? Within NCM, right-click the node and select Validate Login Information.

Well, typically configs are downloaded via telnet or SSH so I'd check to make sure you are able to normally login to the switch with whichever one you normally use.

What kind of switch is it? Cisco?

If you're able to login to it normally then I'm guessing you have a password issue in Cirrus so retype your passwords..

Do you have other switches Cirrus is grabbing configs from?
