Am new to Orion , am trying to set up email alert we are running NPM 9.5 SP4 can any one help me out with that.

On the Trigger Actions tab, click 'Add new action' and then select 'Send Email / Page'

Go through each of the tabs and make sure that the SMTP Server tab is populated with the correct information especially if the mail server you're pushing alerts through requires Authentication.

i dont see any Trigger Action tab oohhh i forgot to mention am runing it through web not through the server even though i hve thwach i dont see alert manager tab on my web.

Alerts need to be setup and managed through the server console using the Advanced Alert Manager application. Alert management is not currently available through the web.
