Running NCM by itself

Question

Seems like a simple question, but we're currently running NPM, NCM, and NTA and we're looking to only renew our license for NCM during the next renew cycle. Can we run NCM by itself without NPM? Would there be any loss in NCM functionality without NPM?

You could run NCM by itself without NPM and NTA but when SolarWinds releases an update to NCM you will not be able to update NCM unless you uninstall NPM and NTA why do you not want to keep NPM and NTA? These applications work great together especially if you Cisco ASA's or Palo Alto FW great network insight.
