Add Virtualization Manager as an additonal tab to NPM

Are you trying to add another tab or are you looking to add a menu entry to the existing VIRTUALIZATION tab?

Yes, I'm trying to add Virtualization Manager as a new tab in NPM. Typical NPM includes Home/Network/Netflow/etc. Want an additional tab with Virtualization Manager. Single pane of glass.

I went ahead and created a feature request for VMAN integration in NPM, similar to STM integration. It can be found here: http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/1486

You can display pages from VZM and STM right now. Just create a sperate dashboard and use a Custom HTML resource.

You can copy the URL of a page you would like to incorporate into NPM from VZM or STM and use it on that custom resource.

This will now allow you to display pages from these modules on the NPM Web Console.

I know this isn't a full on integration like you are seeking, but you could do this for now to wing it and still look professional. Create a new Tab and Call it VZM or STM and the page it loads can be the Custom Resource from either one of these modules.

Custom HTML Resources are your best friend here. Use that resource in NPM and then find the page you are looking to view from SVM or STM and copy the URL and paste it in the Custom HTML resource!

You now have that page on a Dashboard in NPM!!

I imagine that is what this blog post covers possibly.
