I'm still not pulling down FireFox 66.0.5, which shows was published 7 days ago. Hello Solarwinds? Anyone?
The packages for Google Chrome 74.0.3729.169 have the incorrect download URL. Instead of pointing to Google, the are pointing to the desktop:
file:///C:/Users/admin/Desktop/Google Chrome Business Enterprise MSI/Google_Chrome_Business_Enterprise_MSI_74.0.3729.169/x86/googlechromestandaloneenterprise.msi
I'm sure you already know this, but I just ended up downloading the software and modifying the package to point to my downloaded software.
That is what I ended up doing. I just wanted to point the issue out to SolarWinds PM team.
UltraVNC 1.2.2.4 was released over a month ago on March, 14th and is still missing from the catalog.
Is there a similar table of HP Business Clients Packages? Specifically, I'm looking for the status of HP Notebook System BIOS updates.

Not really; SolarWinds doesn't provide that view as the HP catalogs are made/updated by HP and not SolarWinds.
This is the list of the third-party catalogs to which Patch Manager can connect & pull updates from (out-of-the-box):
Catalog Name
Publisher
URL
Adobe Systems Acrobat 10 Catalog
Adobe Systems, Inc.
http://armmf.adobe.com/arm-manifests/win/SCUP/Acrobat10_Catalog.cab
Adobe Systems Acrobat 11 Catalog
http://armmf.adobe.com/arm-manifests/win/SCUP/Acrobat11_Catalog.cab
Adobe Systems Reader 10 Catalog
http://armmf.adobe.com/arm-manifests/win/SCUP/Reader10_Catalog.cab
Adobe Systems Reader 11 Catalog
http://armmf.adobe.com/arm-manifests/win/SCUP/Reader11_Catalog.cab
Dell Business Client Update Catalog
Dell
ftp://ftp.dell.com/catalog/DellSDPCatalogPC.cab
Dell Server Updates Catalog
ftp://ftp.dell.com/catalog/DellSDPCatalog.cab
Hewlett-Packard Client Updates Catalog
Hewlett-Packard
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software/sms_catalog/HpCatalogForSms.latest.cab
Hewlett-Packard Server Updates Catalog
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software10/COL25555/sy-65640-1/ProLiant.cab
If you pull down the HP Client catalog .CAB, you can open it and find an .XML that lists them out, but it'd likely be easier to view the catalog contents from within Patch Manager as you could easily sort by date or put a filter on the column to look for certain text strings.
Perfect. Thank you sir.
Guys, when will Chrome version 75.0.3770.80 be released into PM?
When will Adobe Flash Player 32.0.0.207 be released to PM?
Thank you
"The file that was selected does not match the name in the package." when importing source for a package.
Hi folks. When trying to Import Source for Flash Player 32.0.0.207 PPAPI EXE (Upgrade) and Flash Player 32.0.0.207 PPAPI MSI (Upgrade), an "Invalid" dialog box appears with the text: The file that was selected does not match the name in the package. Select another file that matches install_flash_player_32_ppapi.msi
The problem is that the filename configured for both packages has a space character before the ".exe". You are able to import the source files for both EXE and MSI versions if you add a space character before the ".exe" in the file names of the EXE and MSI distributables that you got from Adobe.
I hope this solution helps others.
Foxit Enterprise Reader 9.6.0.25114 ( Full installer not upgrade ) Looking to see why these packages are using .exe for the Enterprise version of Foxit as when the Enterprise version is downloaded via the Foxit website it is in MSI format. This leaves the Package useless as it will not install if a previous Enterprise Version is installed which is also in a format of .MSI.
Can there be an added package to support the MSI format or instructions to modify the existing to use the MSI package.
Thank you!
When will Google Chrome 77.0.3865.90 be available? It patches a critical vulnerability. Thank you.
Thank you so much for keeping it all viable!
Google has released Chrome version 78.0.3904.87 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Google Releases Security Updates for Chrome | CISA
Chrome 78.0.3904.87 was available in Patch Manager when I had it check for updates!
Long time reader, first time poster.
Any idea when the next update will be posted? FileZilla is at version 3.46.3. There may be other programs with new updates as well.
Also, is my brain foggy? I could have sworn Adobe Acrobat and Reader DC were listed in the past but are conspicuously absent now.
Happy holidays.
FileZilla 3.46.3 has just been uploaded to the catalog, apologies for the delay in getting that particular update processed. The Adobe updates are maintained directly by Adobe. In order to gain access to their catalogs you can add custom catalogs to Patch Manager, by going to Synchronization Settings->Other Catalogs and use the links here.
any indication of when Java 8u241 will be available? Thanks
Looking at the chart above, it appears that Java 8u241 was released on the 17th...
Based on feedback from many users, the latest Chrome and Firefox upgrade packages no longer contain the pre-requisite rule which prevents the updates from being applied to servers. We consistently heard that it was a burden on our users to manually edit those package with each Chrome/Firefox release to ensure that their servers were kept up to date. We haven't applied the change to fresh install patches, only the upgrade packages and it's reflected in the description of each package.
Where are the latest patches? We used to get nine to thirteen new bundles of patches every month and now i've seen one bundle for the entire month. We are getting further behind and depend on Patch Manager to keep us secure with updates that mitigate critical security vulnerabilities. Given the problems the Orion team has had lately, it's more critical than ever we keep our products secure at least. I'm already looking at other Patch products just in case SolarWinds has given up supporting this product. This is the worst i've seen in many years of using Patch Management. And the team was doing really great work this past year and i thought the service levels were getting better and better. Did management get in the way???
Agreed, my company has a very tight security window in which I need to put out third party updates. Chrome 88 has been out for a week now, and I'm not seeing it in my Patch Manager, if updates are going to be slow is there any way that we could at least be informed? Someone who's in charge could at least post here explaining that things are taking more time?
Agreed. Two Chrome updates were missed. I finally see new updates today, but the FileZilla offered is already old and Chrome is still missing. I also had to update the download link for KeePass, as the one provided was inaccessible from my network. I have noticed this with other occasional updates with download URLs specifying a mirror in another country.
So, I just logged into Patch Manager, and I see that Chrome 88 is now available. I want to say two things;
1. Thank you for finally making some updates available. Granted, it's two weeks past when Chrome 88 was released, but I've now got it without having to build my own release.
2. I still can't believe that there's been no word whatsoever in either this thread, or the Patch Manager forums, about the slowness or how much longer we're going to be subjected to sporadic releases. SolarWinds already has a black mark on their face with the recent compromise, they don't need to add insult to injury by ignoring their existing customers.
Well, back to square one. Chrome is up to v88.0.4324.150, two versions past what is available in Patch Manager right now.
Again, it's getting absurd.
It is unacceptable to be two versions behind on a program as susceptible as an internet browser.
Where is the Chrome 88.0.4324.150 update? We need to release it as an EMERGENCY patch ASAP!
Well, thank you at least for updating Chrome and other programs. I'm a little surprised that nothing was posted in terms of an explanation as to why it took several of us complaining in a forum to get results, but whatevs...
