How to filter fields

We have some ridiculous polling readings that are flat our wrong, so I'm trying to filter out those devices or interfaces. Could someone provide some examples? I'm not having any luck with what I have tried.

1.) Do I filter out and only show vendors we want to see (ex, Brocade and Cisco)?

2.) Can I filter out specific interfaces?

you need to be more specific please...

I'm guessing you are talking perhaps "top 10" pages. i.e. top 10 errors and discards. This is typical for firewalls to show millions of discards...that's its job.

For that, you'd click edit (above the section/resource to filter), and enter your filter...it might look like this if your firewall names had "PIX" in them.

nodes.caption not like '*pix*'

You indicated you only want to see Brocade and Cisco vendor nodes...

Nodes.Vendor like '*Cisco*' or Nodes.Vendor like '*Brocade*'

They give you hints on the page as well...

How would i write a filter to filter out any nodes with an interface status as "unplugged"?
