Reporting on Unmanaged time

Question

Hey all,

Can anyone help - I need to run reports which show when nodes have been unmanaged within a specified timeframe (i.e. a month).

Has anyone set this up, or can point me in the right direction. Where is the Unmanaged info stored in the DB?

The Unmanaging and Managing of nodes is recorded in the Events table of the database. There will be a record for when the device was Unmanaged and another for when it is put back to a Managed state. You can write a custome SQL report to go through that table and extract the time that devices were in an unmanaged state. You may need to adjust how long events are kept in your database to make sure you have data for the historical time period you may want to look back through. THe default is 30 days. Hope this gets you on the right track.
