we monitor cisco device 8200 with NPM module this device is with single power supply but SolarWinds with hardware sensor read two power supply and second one get critical any help for this issue?
You probably need to open a support ticket
They blame Cisco for not returning any value within particular MIB
I've seen this on 8200 Cisco Routers once we upgrade to IOS 17.6. The issue is from the device and have opened a ticket with Cisco. Our workaround is to disable the Power Supply Module 0 from the Hardware components since the device is providing the incorrect status for that OID, and there is a correctly reporting OID for the power supply.
As an administrator click on Manage Sensors on the Hardware Details widget on the Node details page:
Disable that Sensor
Interestingly this was an issue on another IOS for a different model as well. Bug: CSCvj70371 - Operational status as red for the power supply and fan modules in PI for C6K switches.
Details of the issue can be seen with an SNMPWalk.
