Cortex Agent Plugin getting failed in some agents

Hi All, Do anyone aware of this issue of Cortex Agent Plugin getting failed in some agents and if we hit reinstall , it will install and after some time again we see same issue in manage agents page of Cortex Agent Plugin is failed and rest all plugins are working fine.

because of this , we have application monitoring in place and being flap Up/down frequently with false alarms. kindly let me know if you have same problem and have any resolutions for this.

I have running 3 support cases on this issue with SolarWinds support since 2-3 months but not getting proper responses from them ,everyday they asking logs and no findout/answers for that logs yet and resolution too.

FYI, i am in latest version 2023.3.0 now and we were in n-1/n-2 earlier , SW support team recommended to upgrade to latest to resolve this issue, but it was not successful yet.

Hello, there is a possibility to manually uninstall the plugins. But you need privileges to use OrionSDK https://github.com/solarwinds/OrionSDK.

Then you can uninstall Cortex plugins from agent using OrionSDK.

In SWQL Studio locate Orion.AgentManagement -> Orion.AgentManagement.AgentPlugin + right-click "Generate Select Statement and list Cortex plugins:
Locate Orion.AgentManagement -> Orion.AgentManagement.Agent -> UninstallPlugin + right-click "Invoke..."
Fill agentId and PlugiId -- taken from (1), in my case 'Cortex', 'CortexPlugin.Orion.Interfaces', 'CortexPlugin.Orion.Nodes' -- and click "Invoke":
Plugins should be then fresh reinstalled by Orion

NO , Not yet resolved and solarwinds support team not coming up with proper resolution. they keep on asking logs from clients and poller.

@shiv17994 have you tried Agent.UninstallPlugin SWIS verb for some of the problematic agents? If you cannot use solarwinds/OrionSDK (github.com) then you may use SWIS controls in the Orion webconsole (you must be logged as a user that has Orion Admin righths).

These controls are accessible via:

and speaking about logs... if you go to the agent machine that has this plugin load problem, what do you see in the agent logs?

Agent stores its log in files like
