Virtual environment with nics dedicated

Hi,

I'm planning to install NPM NCM NTA VNQM and UDT with 5 APE's on the same server, the physical NIC 1 Gig on the server, can be sahred with Main Poller and 5 APE's, or can be 1 physical NIC dedicated for the Main Poller, and another physical NIC 1 Gig shared with APE's?

To directly answer your question, 1 nic for all of it.  trying to get the APE's to use a different NIC will be difficult.

Using stackable additional polling engines with 2 (main+1) maybe on a stretch of 3 (main+2) can help with being able to better utilize your hardware... but 6?  you are in for some difficult times.  My real recommendation is to install vmware (or whatever virtualization) on the hardware and run it as 6 VM's.
