Meraki Switch Monitoring

Has anyone had any luck monitoring Meraki switches on SolarWinds NPM? We are needing to use API calls for the switches to get the necessary information from the devices for monitoring purposes. I do not see any information on any of my searches thus far on monitoring Meraki Switches. Any help is appreciated.

Based on my tests of v2023.3 Meraki switches are only supported via SNMP, not via API (API Meraki specific poller is not available in List Resources). But as usual via SNMP from Meraki you will not get CPU, memory, last boot, OS version, etc.

Do you know of any documentation that can help me with the setup of the SNMPv3 for the Meraki devices? I have had no luck with the documentation I have been reading thus far.

We are currently monitoring meraki switches in solarwinds via SNMP. How can else get the serial number details in the dashboard.

Kindly suggest.

I think the only way currently (2023.3) is to try to match information from Orion.Nodes and Orion.Orchestrators.Devices by IP address. Switches are in both with internal IP, so query like this would show you serial numbers for switches and MRs.

FROM Orion.Nodes n
LEFT JOIN Orion.Orchestrators.Devices AS d ON n.IPAddress = d.IPAddress
WHERE n.Vendor LIKE '%Meraki%'

This could be used in some Modern Dashboard widget or a report.

This will also work for stacked Meraki switches, since each looks like a single device to Solarwinds.
