We just recently converted to HCO. What was your first new module you deployed? Why? Did you run into any gotchas? Did your company see immediate benefits? If so, what were they?

VMAN. Big financial savings compared to VMWare VROPS.

Thanks! We are looking into VMAN and SCM. From SWUG Charlotte, it was suggested to check NCM and Anomaly Based Alerts after enabling Platform Connect.

The biggest most important benefit was the licensing, we are no a large shop but instead of having to manipulate which 500 out of 800nodes to monitor we went to 51 node to monitor. One 48port switch is now 1 node not 85.

NPN was the first and most important to configure. the main gotcha with that was, switching the non-used interfaces from down to unplugged so they wont set off alerts.

Agreed. Juggling different module licenses every year was a pain. Thanks for chiming in and your interfaces gotcha!
