How do you chart the result from an API Poller?

I've just set up my first API poller. It returns the number of DNS  calls from our DNS provider so just a simple number, and I'm displaying it via the API Poller widget.

I'd like to graph it over time but don't know how to add the value to a chart.

Any suggestions?

Edit: just found I can see a graph in Perfstack, but would still like to be able to show the results against time in a chart.
