Is it possible to clear an active alert via the API?

Good morning,

I have a unique situation where I need to be able to clear an active alert programmatically. Has anyone accomplished this before? I have been looking in the database but there is no clear update that I can see there, so I am hoping that there is just an API command that can be used.

Yes, its exposed in the API, off Orion.AlertActive
