Monitor an in-house Application

I am in need of a way a widget on the Application Details, that will show the last run status of an application, and the time that it ran.

The in-house dev team has process to start an application running, but when they have completed they will not be in task processing, and they are not services.

I have created templates for them, and set them to 'Not Running'

Should be doable with the custom table widget or simmilar, with a query using the status in the history table for components.

Maybe like [pseudocode]: select top 1 timestamp from orion.apm.chartevidence where status like notrunning and timestamp > addday(-30, getutcdate()) order by timestamp desc

Im coming close to deploying my app soon I can imagine things like seeing a realtime view of the number of processes, exceptions and whatnot would be really helpful to see. I know there are some extremely bloated tools for ruby, I’d rather avoid stuff like that. So what are your ‘must have’ monitoring / performance tuning / metrics libraries? Mystery DnD Dice
