Alarms for interface high discards on Cisco ASAs, how to reconfigure?

So we lost our backup of our original NPM server on WS2012R2. Just built out a new NPM instance on WS2022.

All of the ASAs are sending alarms for the interface being in a Critical state due to all of the packet discards. DUH! It's a firewall, it should be dropping packets.

How do I reconfigure the threshold for dropped packets for ASAs? I'm being bombarded with emails for these firewalls.

I don't know of a way to configure discards just for ASA's but if you go:

Settings > All Settings > Thresholds & Polling > NPM Thresholds - you'll see this:

The other option is to look at the alert that is sending you the mail and tweak that.

Probably the quickest way would be to create a custom property for the ASA's and exclude that custom property in your alert logic.
