In Netpath Services, some of my nodes are incorrectly labelled.

When I am running Netpath Services and some of the path encounters certain IP addresses, the node is labelled incorrectly.

For example if the node has an IP in the 169.254.x.x range it gets the name "Sky Movies Philippines CATV"

169.254.0.0/16 is the Link Local block (rfc3927)

and if it encounters 100.64.0.0/10 it gets labelled as "Bharti Airtel Limited"

this range is reserved for Carrier-grade NAT.

I opened a case with support, but I don't think they believe me and they are just asking for log files.

Have you tried updating or adding entries in IP address group management (/apps/nta-ipgroups/management), and/or your Applications (/Orion/TrafficAnalysis/Admin/ManageApps.aspx)?

Wondering what version your on (and which version you started with)? My older install does not have these present.

Sorry I should have said that we have just upgraded to 2023.2.1

But the problem has always been there, we have been running Solarwinds for many years now.

I have never seen the page /apps/nta-ipgroups/management before so nothing new has been configured there. All I can see is the 3 private address classes.

The same for /Orion/TrafficAnalysis/Admin/ManageApps.aspx, it has never been changed.

I've tried adding the networks in question to IP Management but it made no difference.
