Hardware Health Monitoring Setting up and Trouble Shooting

We are currently looking into some of our servers that are not managed by Hardware Health in Orion, and am just looking for a bit of advice on it if anyone has any ideas/resolutions?

It is mainly HP Servers NON-ESX models and Gen 9 or older, that we are having issues with.

The SolarWinds help page points you to install the HPE SIM however when installing this it seems to be asking us to set up a SQL database with the install which doesn't sound right?

I have a bunch of hardware health stuff, every vendor is unique (side eye to UCS being the hardest to get into SW). The older HP's need the agent WBEM software (WBEM Providers) installed to mine the metrics from Windows nodes.

HP Insight I believe is their central management/monitoring software, don't need that for SW to get the hardware metrics.

Edit: to specify the wbem agent.

Thank you for your help @monitoringlife , I don't suppose you know whether ILO/RILO requires setting up on the servers in order for SW to collect the Hardware Metrics?
