Monitoring ADVA Shelf Slot Equipment in NPM

Hi All,

Question please, has anybody implemented monitoring of ADVA shelf slot equipment in NPM (FSP 3000R7), we are looking to monitor the status of each, have tried raising this with vendor support here, however they haven't been very helpful. They sent us the MIBs which we've gotten loaded into the latest MIB-Database version, but even digging through that is proving to be a pain.

Has anybody done this before? Your thoughts much appreciated, and many thanks.

I haven't done this for an ADVA but in the past when I've had to monitor a device I just ran a snmpwalk over the device and then looked through the results to see what I could find. If they've given you the MIB, then you should be able to line that up with your snmp walk. Then just create customer pollers to monitor it.
