Need help troubleshooting a SolarWinds issue

Hi,

I'm having a problem with my SolarWinds setup and am hoping that someone here can assist me in troubleshooting. Here are the specifics:

I'm using the SolarWinds Orion Platform 2021.2.1.
SolarWinds is monitoring many devices (routers, switches, firewalls, and servers) for me.
I'm not seeing any data for one of my switches (a Cisco Catalyst 3850) for some reason. The switch is absolutely operational, and I can connect to it over the network.
I verified the switch's SNMP settings, and they appear to be correct (community string, SNMP version, and so on).
I attempted to rediscover the device in SolarWinds, but that did not help.

Any ideas on what could be causing this issue? Have you had a similar experience? Do you have any more troubleshooting suggestions?

Verify in which Poller you are using for the devices. Then run SNMPwalk from that server(If you are just using one server, then just straight up run it).

Then verify if you would get any results. If you are not getting any, then it is not getting an SNMP data. If you are, verify if are receiving data from the OIDS listed below.

If SNMPwalk returns and values and most of the OIDs are in there, then it is a polling issue and you might want to open a ticket with Solarwinds.

I assume it's passing the SNMP test? If not, then check if there's a firewall inline blocking SNMP.

As it worked before? If yes and it's only just stopped working and nothing has changed, then reboot the switch. If it's never worked before confirm (as mentioned above) that a snmpwalk works from your solarwinds server and if that passes, then you should upgrade the IOS on the switch.
