Add node Dell server R750

I try add node Dell server R750 ( OS: window server 2019, Dell openmanage 10.3)

but not success, please help me

All I know about OpenManage is what I could glean from Googling it: it appears that OpenManage is Dell's management and monitoring tool. If you're looking to learn how to add a Dell server to being managed/monitored by OpenManage you'll want to check with Dell. If you're wondering if OpenManage can be leveraged to pass systems managed by OpenManage into Orion as a Node, the answer is: not in the way you're imagining.

As to why Orion didn't provide any details about the node, there could be 2 different reasons:

* The data isn't 'available' from the IDRAC when Orion queries it.
This potential cause could be dependent upon multiple variables: IDRAC version, SNMP version, and if using SNMPv3 it could be an aspect of the SNMPv3 USM (User-based Security Model) which could be restricting these aspects from being viewed by the user you have created.
* Or: The version of IDRAC on your system is not included in Orion.

Questions:

* Which version of IDRAC is it running?
* Are you able to perform an SNMP walk on that system and find the values you're expecting?

If the walk includes the values you are looking for this would eliminate the potential of the USM configuration not including the necessary views/objects. If it does not contain the data, then the configuration of the IDRAC would need to be changed (assuming that the version of IDRAC includes this data).

Hi @vutuan1510,

We'll actually need a little more information. The main confusion point we will have is that is seems as if two different technologies are listed on your single node:

* Dell R750
* Dell OpenManage 10.3

There's also an unmentioned third option related to that system, the Board Management Controller: Dell IDRAC, which you could be trying to add.

All three of these are different monitoring methods.

* WMI for the Windows Server (or agent)
* SNMP for IDRAC
* And a SAM template for OpenManage
