Orion Map - Sites Displayed Based on Connection Type Used

Hi All,

In search of help please.

Looking to create an Orion Map displaying individual sites on the map based on connection used.

For instance on the router, if interface A (primary connection) is up then site is displayed as green, if interface B (secondary connection that comes up if primary is down) is up then it will be amber, and both interfaces down red.

Is this possible to do in Orion Maps? Been uncertain how to achieve this and any help is much appreciated?

Can you elaborate? Do any of these maps align with what you want to do? Maps (solarwinds.com). You may also want to look at Network Atlas utility to create maps as well if Orion Maps doesn't give you what you need. Network Atlas is the existing mapping utility and over time will be replace by Orion Maps.

Sure, so we have an existing map of the country on SolarWinds, and am looking to plot the state of all our sites on that map. On the router for every site, if an interface is up - green, if however a custom poller (line protocol - cisco router) on another interface is up then - amber, otherwise if both down then red.

Hope this makes it clearer.
