Hi Thwackers,
I'm looking for a way to pass the currently logged in user (ARM) to the backend script, this is using OpenTemplates.
Sure it's easy, just can't find it!
Thank you in advance
James
Unfortunately, execution of the template is independent of the currently logged on user and there does not appear to be a way to pass the info along. I would recommend opening a feature request for this. The following video will show you how to submit a feature request, https://thwack.solarwinds.com/resources/thwack-tech-tips/b/ttt-videos/posts/how-to-submit-a-feature-request.
Hello James.allen Something like that is not possible. PowerShell cannot capture the current user with password. That would bypass Windows security Only a manual entry in the script would be possible.
