Have been working on creating nested maps,would like to show multiple links on the map between maps.

Example : CORE (has multiple nodes) ---------- redundant links --------- WAN

Map only shows 1 link though manually created interfaces for those nodes, is there a way to show links visually on parent map ?

Not sure what you mean exactly, but some possible options:

-Add a custom interface-type connectin between nodes where relevant
-Add a background image with some connections drawn on it
-Add arrow images with connections
-Instead/around the map object add your actual objects that link correctly, then hide them/make them smaller/add a custom element around them that links to the page you actually want to link to

I remain unconvinced by the suitability of Orion Maps, and sadly nesting of maps is one such area that remains to be implemented.

The second issue, which if I read you correctly, is showing all links and again, OM defaults to the same behaviour as Network Atlas in that by default all links appear as a single line. Though you can manually create each link in NA, you cannot replicate this in OM.

I know this isnt a nested map, but something like this maybe?

(Purely illustrating a way of doing multi-links, i dont really have any serious nested maps)

I sit corrected... and hadn't considered your approach as a "fix".

If I read that correctly you have created an interface object and then linked that to the other side. So are the 'core' nodes actual live icons, or just a picture?

Still, there ought to be an option to simply tick a box (per map if needs be) that says "show all links as individual lines" or "group all links between two nodes into one" - as I know some like that approach.

These are live icons, what i'm doing here is enlarging the objects with multiple links, then bringing out the child objects that form those connections (which I pulled from clicking on the auto-formed arrows and searching within the related objects for core and core2), at which point those automatically link up too.

I'm doing a couple things here which are a little fiddly

However I think this option would remove the default connection you dont like were you to set up the other ones. Maybe.

Pretty sure it would be possible to arrange something that'd work OK within the feature set, but I'd totally support an option to split out the connections or something as a option

I'll take curved arrows first though, please!
