VCentre in SolarWinds

Hi,

I've added a VCentre within a remote network via API on 443. Within Virtualization manager it all shows fine, as expected. However SolarWinds has automatically added each ESX node as an ICMP node separately. I don't want to have to add a NAT for every ESX host, can I just remove the returned nodes, or will that break it?

That shouldnt happen as default, are you sure you're not seeing the VirtualHost object? (Ie it reads that from vcenter)

If they are nodes you can remove em no problem

If you remove the node from NPM, it will also disappear from Virtualization Manager. Vmware hosts all show up as ICMP monitored only nodes in NPM.
